Today I received yet another spam e-mail from an African person offering love, marriage and lord knows what else.
She tells me that having read my profile she thinks Blah,Blah, Blah.
So I have this morning, taken out all my personal details from my jackin profile as,if people are joining jackin just to hack an account,then who knows where else its going,

I received a similar e-mail from a woman with a yahoo address. Funny, in my profile I say that I am gay. They should have a guy come on to me. No big whoop, just deleted the e-mail.

The point is, just because the writers says they are male/ female whatever,the fact is this, that this is big business in third world countries and, any info gleaned from open source profiles are valuable,who knows when and where it might pop up to haunt us.
Moreover ,on the bottom of my profile page it states and, I have from day one taken notice that:Quote"* Spam Advisory: Spammers employ tools which search the net for publicly displayed e-mail addresses. Therefore we advise you not to publicly display your e-mail addresses on your profile. My e-mail has never been publicly available and yet???
It might nice to hear a comment from from admin at this point

I get a couple of spam e-mails a day from some dusky maiden promising me a life of bliss. I just delete them, but it is irritating. It would be nice if the site could tighten up its security a bit. As for the personal details thing, no way would I put anything remotely personal on the internet!
