I agree that chat doesnt work and that is probably why people post here cuz a lot of people are looking right here right now. are you the site owner or a moderator? just curious.

That is correct. If you post looking for someone "now," it clutters up the boards and creates threads with people replying that they're ready when "now" has become, "hours ago," "yesterday," "last week," "last year," etc.

Chat works just fine. There are 101 people in the room as I type this. Obviously, anyone with the boards up is looking at them "right here, right now." The problem comes in with those threads cluttering up the board, and resurfacing when the "right here, right now" that someone was looking for action was actually "back then." Example: A couple of weeks ago, there were two new posts replying that they were ready and willing to answer that "right now" call to action...from a two year old post.

Can't the chat be updated to a flashchat platform. There are loads out there now that are also accessible via iphones and androids. Not many people use java anymore due to the problem java has with virus's and computer hijacks.

Yeah the chat sucks. I got in via Safari, but then only in this simple text-only format. In Firefox and Explorer I get persistent Java error messages I cannot fix. Upgrade your chat, and this site will rock.
Chat works just fine. As I type this, there are 85 people logged into the room.
