FYI: When you join JMeeting you MUST have the latest version of Java, or you will get no where. The Help/Tech room people will guide you if you can't see cams or get your own cam to broadcast on it. There are a lot of tricks to learn to use it effectively, just like at ALL webcam sites.

You can't use mics at JMeeting, as far as I know, but you can chat by going to the Room List, double clicking on the name of a room, thereby entering it, and can either enter text and take part in the chat in that room or double click on a member's name and invite someone to chat in a Private Message window. BE WARNED!, that in most rooms it is NOT OK to PM someone without asking first in the Room's chat and getting a positive response. You can be booted from the room for blindly PMing someone... especially a woman!... Be respectful of other's space there.

Many of the rooms are REAL communities of friends that have chatted and cammed with each other for years and they will not put up with any bullshit, whining or flaming from Newbies. If you don't understand Chat/Cam Etiquette by now, you will learn REAL fast by being BANNED from rooms where you become a nuisance.

IMHO, JMeeting is totally worth the cost of joining for a year, so that you can watch more than 3 cams at once... I believe up to 20 at a time, (if you even have that much room on your screen... lol).
