Can you please help me understand why i am banned and how i can go about getting back in? I miss this chat site.
What does it say when you try to log in?
Same with me - I was banned..dont know why and dont know how or when I can get back in.

Yesterday I couldn't get in and it said I was banned, and it was the same for another guy I know. We were both baffled, but today we were both back in. The chat works in mysterious ways. Maybe those who can't get in today will be able to get in tomorrow.
Depending on the reason for the ban (minor rule infraction, for example), a 30 minute timer is normally placed on it. If, however, it's a more serious infraction (underage content, incest content, etc), it's permanent.
Normally, a reason for the ban is included with the ban, and that reason is displayed by the IRC system when you try to log in (such as, for example, "allow at least 15 minutes between repeating posts"

Their ban will range from hours to permanent.

The url you've posted suggests you've either got something dodgy on your machine or your IP address has been involved in something dodgy like a denial of service attack.

I've had reports of similar messages yesterday and today. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to try to log in and see if something is going on at the dalnet level.
Previously, a dalnet mod has set the room to "moderated" status (meaning only mods could post) because of confirmed reports of inappropriate content when no room mod was on duty. If this turns out to be similar, expect a lengthy post from me about abiding by the rules of chat and why we can't have nice things.
