What exactly is the appeal of this?
There is one guy in particular, he goes by the name FratGuy21 and a few others, posting from a Comcast IP in Virginia, who is obsessed with this fantasy. (The problem pretending you're in a fraternity is eventually someone will know the challenge phrases to check and see if you really are or not.) I don't get it.

I always thought that guys that were actually in fraternities NEVER used the term 'frat', so its pretty easy to tell they are fake. Also, they usually seem to be a 'hung jock' kind of a guy. Someone watched too many college movies.

Yep...you don't call your County a cunt so you never call your fraternity a frat. That's a derogatory term to anyone in a real fraternity that did more than just party and fuck coeds.
