from what i've read, that's because it's turning into "now" posts. i wouldn't mind a thread with links to active rooms, but the last thread got to 511 pages of people just bumping links of rooms to the last page. if people would post without the "now" aspect, i would hope there wouldn't be a problem, and the thread could stick around. would hate to lose links to new good rooms.
Can understand the reason for closing it - sometimes a room would be bumped three or four times on the same page.
But the topic's too popular to be closed permanently.
There was an attempt by someone on the last thread to keep an index. Maybe someone could volunteer again, and keep a full index of live links, not just their favourites? Keep the page count down ...

This thread is one of the main reasons I come here. In my experience, rooms can stay active for quite a while after they are posted, longer than most rabb.it rooms at least. I hope these threads don't continue to get closed.
