I don't have a son, but masturbation is a fact of life. We all do it. My wife and I have both talked to our daughter about sex, masturbation, etc. She knows masturbation is natural, normal, feels great, and helps her know her body. She also knows to do it in private. We knock before entering her room and if she says "I'm not dressed" we know what's going on and we respect her privacy. She does the same for us.
If parents don't educate their kids about sex, their friends and social media will. I'd rather her get the facts from my wife and I. Why would I care? As long as he knows the difference between porn and reality and treats all women with respect in real life and doesn't become a sick pervert, stalker, rapist or anything like that. Most people, especially guys, view porn and masturbate and are pretty well adjusted.
