I can rarely get on Dalnet anymore.

I am computer savvy. I know about VPN's and incognito mode issues. I know many of the tricks of the trade. Even with no extensions, no VPN, no incognito, I am unable to access DALnet about 90% of the time.

Can't someone fix that? At least find a way to make Jackinchat work again?

I also raised the issue. And even wrote to DALNet. But I think it is the admin here that needs to do something.

Does that happen when you use a standalone client also, rather than the Quick Chat on this site? I use Hexchat because I like the user interface better, and I haven't had problems. If you haven't tried another client, give it a shot. If the problem is with the Kiwi interface they use for Jackinchat, a different client ought to clear it up.

is there a connection between dalnet ,jackin chat and my circle as for some unknown reason although i can get onto my circle i can no longer comment on videos ,i can add comments in the comment box but there is nothing to click to send the comment

There's no connection with DALnet. I don't see any connection between Jackinchat and MyCircle other than you use a browser to reach both. That's an idea...try a different browser for MyCircle and see if that's better. Also check your browser settings (like javascript). That's a longshot but worth checkin. I've been using Chrome and it has worked fine, FWIW.
