I would never let a knife near my kid's cock, unless he had problems with phimosis/tightness that could not be solved by stretching out his foreskin manually. In most cases surgery is completely unnecessary and all about the "Doctor" making a pile of money.

I am circumcised, and was at birth (USA). I love my penis just the way it is, but I chose not to have my son circumcised. I just didn't think I had the right to make that decision for him in the absence of medical necessity (which, by the way, scientifically, there isn't). If he want to do it later when he's older (which I doubt but you never know) he can elect to have it done.
