I've noticed here on jackinchat, and also on VEF and c3lebj0 that guys from the UK seem to be over-represented. I mean that more than half of the JO discussion participants seem to be from the UK, even though the US has a much bigger population.

I'm pretty sure that the amount of jerking off is really about the same in the US vs. the UK per capita. So why are there more UK guys here?

I suspect might be due to the lack of UK themed Jacking/Wanking sites such as this. Anything I've stumbled upon over here seems to be dedicated to the gay market.

Depends on what time of day it is. You have to take the time difference into account between the UK and USA. If you're jacking here in the UK during the day, the guys in the USA have probably jacked off and in bed by the time you start. However, you'll notice that the majority of posts always seem to be answered by our American cousins.

Agreed. I don't think its any more prevalent here - depends on the timing of your visit. There is no dedicated UK site for wank mates and chat outside of established gay hookup sites which is not what we're looking for. If you log in during UK day times, the majority of users will be either UK or Western Europe. As you get towards mid afternoon here, our US friends start to come online (haha) and by our late evening, we start disappearing for the night and the site has mainly US users. I've had a couple of good hookups from this site, so clearly it works for us, although in London it is easier to find people nearby. Wanking is wanking, we all do it, so it's great to share it and strengthen our international bonds!
